If you were on the SWGEMU forums back in 2009, you might remember my thread, "From Beta to Blunder." It was a diary of my life as a Mon Calamari Scout named Vroflus and an Armorsmith named Rodd.
I am archiving that entire story here, but with a twist. Using Google Gemini, I am "reshooting" my original screenshots. The layout, the camps, and the armor are exactly where they were in the early '00s, but now they look like frames from a modern film. It’s the game the way we felt it back then.
System Status: The Current Phase
Wrestling with AI to get every shot to line up for the sliders can be an agonizing process. Due to technical hurdles and my goal to restore the narrative quickly, starting with Entry #16, I am prioritizing the original screenshots to get the entire story back online. Once the chronicle is complete, I will return to finish the "live-action" remasters.
